Iyengar yoga emphasizes detail, precision and alignment in the postures. This progressive development starts with basic actions that build on each other and help those who practice improve posture, develop better body awareness and increase strength and flexibility. This time taken to focus on the physical body promotes an improved mind-body connection. Iyengar Yoga is accessible for all ages and all body types.

Grow with others, while receiving personalized instruction. We design our sequences with individual students’ needs in mind. You will be seen and benefit from the energy of the group class (in person or online) as we connect together.

We provide you with a firm and vast foundation in asana (postures) and pranayama (breath work) and we build on this together. We want you to see that it is never too early or too late to learn more about your own body. You will discover that there are so many possibilities in this practice and that it can change, develop, and grow with you.

BKS Iyengar developed this method of instruction from his own experience and dedicated practice. It is dynamic and always evolving, making it suitable for every body. It is not so much about what we are doing but the fact that we are trying to do it with such presence, attention and awareness.
