
TAKE TIME TO FEEL BETTER.
In our Iyengar Yoga sessions, each class will build on actions and concepts learned in the previous. Because of this we offer classes through semester-type sessions and encourage you to make this full commitment to attend class every week. Each session typically runs for about two months with the same instructor each week. If your schedule does not permit you to attend for the entire session or if you want to dip your toe in and try us out, you are always welcome to use the drop-in option.
ZOOM, IN-STUDIO CLASSES, OR RECORDINGS ARE AVAILABLE.
GENTLE
For those with injuries, chronic illness or who want an easier-going practice.
CONTINUING
This class is appropriate for beginners but because of the small class size, it also works well for more experienced students who want to practice all classes of poses.
level 1
For beginners and for those who have a foundation in the basic yoga poses and may want to work toward inversions and back bends. Remember, Iyengar Yoga is taught in stages and there is always a variation or modification that is appropriate.
level 2-3
For those who have a foundation in the standing poses and want to practice standing poses, inversions, back bends and forward bends.
mixed level
This class will accommodate Level 1 and Level 2/3 students who prefer Zoom or Recorded Alternative. Modifications and alternatives will be given as we work with standing poses, back bends, forward bends and inversions.
meditation
Jackie will start and end the session, allowing 45 minutes to sit silently for practice. There will be no formal instruction. No need to sign up either, just show up, you're always welcomed.
pranayama
For those who want to practice breath regulation to help quiet the mind and reduce stress.

Class Make-Up Policy.
If you miss a class or a class is canceled due to weather conditions, you may make up that class by dropping in on another class (Zoom or live). You can request the Zoom link by emailing Kristin. You can email Kristin for a class recording link for a missed class also.
No credit is given for missed classes in the next session. If you sign up for the next session, you may make up missed classes from a previous session. You are responsible for keeping track of your missed classes, not the instructor.
